Forgive - (Music by Jayed1975)

In Honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please, if you are stuck in an abusive situation, don’t wait; reach out today – reach out now – for tomorrow may be too late. National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233 or TTY 1−800−787−3224. Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence. "Forgive" is a song about abuse: spousal abuse, child abuse, bullying, physical abuse, emotional abuse, etc. This song portrays how un-forgiveness can ultimately entrap a 'victim,' whereas forgiveness can release a 'survivor.' This is an original song composed and produced by Jayed1975.  (If you would like to tell your story, please feel free to leave a comment... Also, if you enjoyed a song, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe; I will be adding more songs once completed. Peace,

Suicide Prevention

In Honor of Suicide Prevention Month

Suicide of a loved one is one the hardest wounds and pain that a person can go through in life. As many of you know, my oldest brother Tom took his life 25 years ago – 25 years later and I still think about and miss him every day. One of the toughest aspects of suicide are thoughts of ‘Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda’: What if…? What if I did this…? What if I didn’t do that…? I should have… Why didn’t I…? Maybe, if I had… … etc. And like many other facets of life, grief is a process that ebbs and flows… one day you feel on top of the world and on another you feel like a basket-case… hearts take time to heal, and some days we need to lean more on others who can relate… who will listen without judgment and offer support without expectations… And to those who feel there is no way out, but by death – there is always a better way, a reason to live, someone who loves you more than you could ever realize… In memory of every life lost by Suicide...

(This song is called ‘Goodbye.’ A song from a band that broke up in the 80’s – I cannot remember the band name and haven’t heard this song since.)

Music for The Soul...

Why I do What I do
~Jayed1975~

As a singer-songwriter and musician, I strive to create songs that encompass life's positives and life's negatives... In a world where perception begets reality and reality begets a plethora of perspectives - each with tendrils upon tendrils of nuances... In such a world, numerous stories are left yet untold- waiting - needing to be spoken. Tales that speak of joy, sadness, love, heartbreak, life, death, God, growth, pain, forgiveness, shame, etc...

And, in this disheveled world, where numbness silently creeps into our very souls and spirits, day after day and night after night, slowly poisoning our every passion and zest for life, and constantly dampening our emotional well-being... In this sometimes miserable world, music can reach beyond the lethargy and beyond the numbed emotions, to once again, guide us into an enlightened understanding and eventual healing of self – thus; the healing and transforming power of music…
